Life of Pi

Film Screening of Life of Pi

Hello Readers, In this Blog I'm going to write down here Film Screening of Life of Pi. This task was assigned by Yesha madam Department of English, MKBU.

Life of Pi is an adaptation of Yann Martel’s novel (2001)it was adapted as a 2012 film directed by Ang Lee. In which an Indian boy, finds himself shipwrecked and lost in the Pacific Ocean in a large lifeboat. His companions are four wild animals: an orangutan a zebra, a hyena, and most notably, Richard Parker, a tiger. Pi and the tiger, and Pi’s only purpose in the next 227 days is to survive the shipwreck and the hungry tiger.

The heart of the film focuses on the sea journey, during which the human demonstrates that he can think with great ingenuity and the tiger shows that it can learn. I won't spoil for you how those things happen. The possibilities are surprising. Let me try to describe one point of view. The camera is placed in the sea, looking up at the lifeboat and beyond it. The surface of the sea is like the enchanted membrane upon which it floats. There is nothing in particular to define it; it is just … there. This is not a shot of a boat floating in the ocean. It is a shot of the ocean, boat, and sky as one glorious place.

Most of the footage of the tiger is of course CGI, although I learn that four real tigers are seen in some shots. The young actor Suraj Sharma contributes a remarkable performance, shot largely in sequence as his skin color deepens, his weight falls and deepness and wisdom grow in his eyes.

The island raises another question: Is it real? Is this whole story real? I refuse to ask that question. "Life of Pi" is all real, second by second and minute by minute, and what it finally amounts to is left for every viewer to decide. I have decided it is one of the best film.

Thinking Activity- Victoria Park

Romantic Poets- Victoria Park

Hello Readers, I'm going to write a review of Victoria Park. This task was assigned by Yesha ma'am Department of English, MKBU.

We visited Victoria Park which is in the Middle of our city Bhavnagar. This is the one and only city jungle park all over Gujarat. This visit was organized by Yesha ma'am. I visited it with my classmates and seniors. I Feel nature closely. When I saw the Greenery around me One song I remembered...

મોર બની થનગાટ કરે, મન મોર બની થનગાટ કરે.

મારું મન મોર બની થનગાટ કરે.

મારું મન મોર બની થનગાટ કરે.

Because nature gives peace to our mind and soul. I'm also a Dendrophile type person. The meaning of Dendrophile is a person who loves forests and trees.

In this park, there is also one lake. Which is very beautiful but also dirty.Because some people polluted our nature.

Whenever I see greenery around me my heart feels very blessed. When we back to nature we feel we are in heaven.

This is a poem that was based on nature...

Nature is beautiful

nature is fun

love it or hate it

nature is something to love

nature is god's gift to us.

Nature we love

water and feed nature

Nature water's and feed's us

God gave us nature.

we can't live without it

nature makes us

I know nature

Nature is beautiful

Nature is about the earth

nature has flowers; s and weed's

weed's or flower's nature is us

Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.

Thank you for visiting...
